Sarasota Farmers Market

Sarasota, Florida is home to one of the most vibrant and bustling farmers markets in the state. Located in the heart of downtown, the Sarasota Farmers Market is a community gathering place that offers a wide variety of fresh, local produce, artisanal goods, and prepared foods.

The market is held every Saturday from 7 am to 1 pm, rain or shine, and features over 70 vendors selling everything from seasonal fruits and vegetables to fresh-baked bread, homemade jams and jellies, local honey, and more. Visitors can also find unique gifts, handmade crafts, and artisanal products such as soaps, candles, and pottery.

One of the best things about the Sarasota Farmers Market is that it provides a platform for local farmers and producers to connect with the community and share their products. All of the vendors are from within a 50-mile radius of Sarasota, which means that shoppers are getting the freshest, most locally-sourced products available.

In addition to the wide variety of food and goods available, the Sarasota Farmers Market also features live music, cooking demonstrations, and other special events throughout the year. It's a great place to bring the whole family for a morning of shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Visitors to the market can also take advantage of the free parking available in the nearby State Street and Palm Avenue garages, making it easy to get in and out of the market without the hassle of finding a parking spot.

The Sarasota Farmers Market is a true gem and a must-visit destination for anyone who loves fresh, local food, handmade goods, and supporting the community. With its diverse selection of vendors and lively atmosphere, it's a place where locals and visitors alike can come together to celebrate the bounty of the Sarasota region.

We enjoy the farmers market at least once a month. Our favorite venders at the market are:

Quni Tuni- This mother/daughter duo specializes in Central Asian and Middle Eastern food and desserts. Don't miss the Hot Bureks (warm cheese and spinach is the best)!
